Celebrating educators, promoting wellness and building community — the Teacher's Half Marathon runs in honour of the teachers and schools that shaped a nation.
The Teacher's Half Marathon is an athletics event that promotes wellness and celebrates educational heritage — contributing to sports tourism and physical fitness among teachers and members of the public.
It is a roving marathon, hosted across all provinces, that invites every teacher and every member of the public to celebrate education by running in honour of teachers and schools. The event is supported by Toursport Entertainment Ltd in partnership with the Ministry of Education, through the Teachers Sports Association of Zambia.
Run with. Run for. Represent your school.
Every kilometre supports a cause. This is a celebration of maternal and mental health, physical fitness, and Zambia's proud education heritage — bringing communities together in movement and purpose.
Meet fellow teachers, share stories and build networks that last well beyond race day.
Dedicate every kilometre to the teachers who shaped you — and the schools that raised you.
Wear your colours with pride and put your school on the start line for the province to see.
Teachers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, engineers, entrepreneurs, students, parents — if you believe in education, there's a start line here for you.
Chase a personal best over 21KM & 10KM, or keep it social with the 5K run, walk & aerobics.
Compete alongside top athletes from across Zambia in a professionally timed, certified event.
A celebration of health and fitness, with proceeds supporting maternal and mental health.
